Eligibility
Open to all Emeryville residents age 70 and over, and to residents age 18-69 who are ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) certified.-DA Requirements:-Must have a temporary or permanent disability-An application must be filled out describing their disability or condition that prevents them from using a fixed bus route-Application requires signature from healthcare provider.
Fees
Participant must pay full taxi fare to taxi driver and obtain a receipt for later reimbursement by the program.
How to Apply
Seniors age 70 and over: Call to apply to obtain a reimbursement form. People with disabilities: Complete the Paratransit Program Application on the City of Emeryville website and schedule an appointment with Paratransit Office in Oakland to become ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) certified.ADA Application Process .
