Description

Helps parents, their families, and their healthcare providers cope with the loss of a baby. Services are for parents who experienced the loss of a baby before, during, and after birth (up to 1 year after birth). Support is also provided to relatives and friends. Services provided include: In-person and virtual grief support group meetings for parents who are grieving a pregnancy or infant lossSpecialized virtual support groups:Early Pregnancy LossParenting After LossSubsequent PregnancyOne on one peer support- HAND volunteer via phone and/or email.Information and resources for bereaved parents and professionals.Annual Service of Remembrance, creative workshops and other events to help parents process grief and cherish their babies.Helping Hands quarterly newsletter. Limited financial assistance to help eligible families with funeral expenses.
