Program Info

Eligibility
The first priority is given to children who are 3 or 4 years old and have been involved with child protective services because they have been neglected, abused, or exploited, or are at risk of such harm.(b) The second priority is for 4-year-old children in a specific order:Children from families with the lowest income.If multiple families have the same income, children with special needs are admitted first.If there are no children with special needs, the family waiting the longest gets priority.(c) The third priority is for 3-year-old children, and they follow the same order as (b).(d) After all the above priorities are met, the program can enroll other children:They can enroll 3- and 4-year-olds from eligible families without checking if they need the service, prioritizing by income, and enrolling 4-year-olds before 3-year-olds.For schools in certain areas, they can enroll 4-year-olds from nearby families without checking eligibility or need, also prioritizing by income.
Fees
Sliding scale based on income. Private child care is $75 per day.

Visit during program hours for waiting list application or schedule an appointment to pick up enrollment application.
Documents Required
Varies but may include: proof of income, proof of need (hours of work, class schedule, etc.), proof of seeing employment.
