Hively issues subsidized payment for child care for low income parent transitioning from CalWORKS to work; working or in a county approved activity. For families who have no CalWORKs eligibility CAPP is a child care payment program where families register onto a waitlist and are enrolled based on income and family size. Priority is given to CPS, At-Risk children, and homeless families. Assists families with community resources and child care choices and opportunities. Assists families in Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, San Ramon, Fremont, Union City, and Newark.
