Program Info
Eligibility
Must be a family with minor children, a veteran, a mother in her second trimester or later, a person 55 or older, a disabled adult, a domestic violence survivor, or an emancipated youth who are:1. Seeking assistance with security deposit: You must be an Alameda resident for at least 6 months and you must have located affordable housing and been approved for it; or2. Seeking assistance with delinquent rent: You must have a letter or some other notice from the landlord stating that you are behind on your rent.Accept callers who have an active 3-daynotice. However, if the client has an active Unlawful Detainer we do not.

How to Apply
Call to apply. Intakes are on Mondays only. If a caller does not receive a call back in 48 hours send an email. The caller must call at 9am on Monday. Usually by 9:30am,Eden Council for Hope will already reach capacity for the day.
