Description

Offers a door-to-door transportation service for individuals unable to use other forms of public transportation. Services are for those unable to use other forms of public transportation due to a medical condition or disability and seniors over 70.

Program information

Eligibility: Be a resident of the City of Hayward, Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, Unincorporated San Leandro, Ashland or CherrylandBe at least seventy (70) years old, orBe at least eighteen (18) years old; and be unable to drive or use other public transportation (such as the bus or BART) independently due to a medical or disabling condition
Program Fee: $4 (riders responsibility) per ride worth up to $20 (will be covered by the city). Rider is responsible for any cost past the first $20.
