Property Owners: Alameda County Property Owners can call 510-727-9565 to list their vacancies with Eden I&R for free. In our effort to assist community members in securing housing. Eden I&R provides property owners with a service where they can list their vacancies with us for free. There are three solid advantages to listing vacancies with Eden I&R including.

1. Additional Exposure- Last year 211 Alameda County received approximately 50,000 calls from community members seeking housing.

2. Saves Property Owners Time- Clients who meet owner general guidelines are referred. Eden I&R staff do a screening process with callers result in the referral only clients that meet property owners general guidelines.

3. Saves Property Owners Money- The housing referral service is free to property owners and community members.\

Housing Subscription: Subscriptions are intended for community-based organizations and other direct service providers seeking a comprehensive source of affordable housing information for their clients. A one-year subscription includes 24 installments of the paper edition of PDF document or access to the Online Housing Information Project. Subscriptions are available in a hard -copy(paper) format; online or PDF and are updated biweekly.

211 Callers in need of Housing: Eden I&R manages a computerized database of over 82,000 housing units located throughout Alameda County. Eden I&R works in cooperation with Housing Authority jurisdictions within Alameda County and rental housing associations to add vacancies into the housing database. Although the primary priority is affordable housing, the agency partners with both 1: Property owners that work with subsidy programs and 2: property owners that offer market rate rentals. Emergency shelter, transitional, subsidized and permanent housing information is also available free of charge , 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through calling 2-1-1. Community members can also access database information online through Eden I&R's website at www.edenir.org and www.211alamedacounty.org.
